The International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) and SingEx Exhibitions, together with Enterprise Singapore as Strategic Partner, organise the World Rubber Summit (WRS) 2019, to be held on 18-19 March 2019 in Park Royal on Beach Road, Singapore.

‘'From Evolution to Revolution: New Paths for the Rubber Economy'' will be the theme of the WRS 2019. Rubber is omnipresent in our everyday life, moving our lives and our world and it is a very important source of living for many people around the globe. Innovation and technology transfer have always played a crucial role in developing a sector that has constantly evolved adapting to fast changing economic, social and environmental conditions worldwide. Today new challenges are ahead: industrialisation and urbanisation in emerging economies, changing demographics and consumer preferences, rise of new technologies and climate changes. The International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) was established in 1944 as the only intergovernmental organisation that brought the worlds rubber producing and consuming stakeholders together. The IRSG shall be THE FORUM for the discussion of matters affecting the supply and demand for natural as well as synthetic rubber

The IRSG will be the authortative source of statistical data and analysis for all aspects of the rubber industry, including production, consumption and trade in rubber as well as rubber products. The seminal purpose of the secretariat is to prepare current estimates and analyse future supply and demand trends, while undertaking statistical and economic studies on specific aspects of the industry so as to continually improve its value-added service to stakeholders.
